Dustin Fisher is opening for Comedian Aries Spears at the Lyric on May 13
Comedian Aries Spears, best known as a regular cast member of the long-running sketch comedy show Mad TV, will bring his stand-up to the Patricia and Arthur Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric on Friday, May 13, at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7:15 p.m.) The event, open to the public, is sponsored by the University of Baltimore Student Events Board. The Lyric is located at 140 W. Mt. Royal Ave. Information on purchasing tickets is listed below.
Opening the performance will be UB’s own Dustin Fisher, a great Better Said Than Done storyteller. Fisher, a professional comedian in his own right, will serve as featured performer and emcee for the event. Find out more about Fisher’s “think out loud” style of comedy here.

Off-street parking for the May 13 event is available at the nearby Fitzgerald Garage, located behind the Lyric on Oliver Street (campus map). There are also metered spaces on the streets surrounding the Lyric.

Jessica Piscitelli will be performing a story at McLean Bible Church on May 3rd at 7PM. Jessica’s story is about figuring out what you want in life and going for it. Jessica is performing as part of a 1.5 hour seminar given by Freddi Donner, of Business Stamina. Freddi’s presentation incorporates Jessica’s story and develops the themes from the story into a course on shaping your life.
Tonight was the first official Better Said Than Done Advisory Board meeting. We discussed some great ideas, including venues to consider for our first regular show, format of the shows, corporate bookings, and getting the word out.
There’s a lot to do, but getting Better Said Than Done off the ground and running is going to be a great production!
